Wow hasn’t 2012 been an awesome year? We’ve had a blast and with the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and London Olympics we’re sure you have too!

Let’s not get upset about it ending, because there’s so much to look forward to as you can see in our handy highlights below!

  • The view from the Shard, February 2013

Europe’s tallest building is finally opening on the 1st February 2013 and you can visit the four story viewing platform for an amazing view over London. You will be able to see up to 40 miles away on a clear day! The galleries will also have top of the range telescopes, offering information about famous landmarks and places of interest. Get your tickets now for night time and day time viewing sessions as we think it’s going to be popular!

  • One Direction Tour, Spring 2013

Love them or hate them, the most successful boyband since The Beatles are touring throughout the UK & Ireland in Spring 2013. Expect screaming girls!

  • The Book of Mormon, May 2013

‘South Park’ creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone’s comedy musical about a pair of hapless Mormon missionaries won nine awards at last year’s Tony awards. Avenue Q creator Robert Lopez also help to  It’s now coming to London and is already selling fast!

  • Anchorman 2, Kick Ass 2 and The Hangover III

Next year is going to be a good year in the cinema. With some highly anticipated sequels, and even third part-ers we think there will be plenty of citysocializer cinema trips coming up! Also look out for the final film of the Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright’s Cornetto trilogy ‘The World’s End’.

  • Glastonbury 2013, June 26-30

Pilton Farm is back in action with the best festival in the UK, Glastonbury. With the Rolling Stones and Fleetwood Mac tipped to top the bill, and the hungry faithful desperate for their fix after a year off, this should be one to remember.

  • Roy Lichtenstein, February 21-May 17

One of citysocializer’s favourite pop artists Roy Lichtenstein is exhibiting at the Tate next year. Bringing together 125 of his most definitive paintings and sculptures, this will be the first full-scale retrospective of this leading American pop artist in over twenty years.

  • citysocializer New Members Nights 2013
