CS Manchester party!

Community News

Jonny Q (Managing Editor – UK North):

Well, Saturday night was the first of 15 parties throughout all the CS cities and if they are all as good as this one – it’s gonna be one hell of a month!  With over 120 attending and free drinks upon arrival, our members got the party really going by being ultra welcoming and chatty, relaxing and eyeing up the dance floor for later on!

I was joined on the night by 2 great Manchester hosts in Elin and Mel and we spent the best part of the afternoon blowing up baloons, putting up decorations and making sure “ground zero” was ready for lift off come 7.30pm! It’s worth pointing out that on a scale of 1-10 for lung capacity, I’m about a 2, Elin is 6 and Mel was blowing up baloons on a scale of about 12!!! Joining us later on was Sandrine who came down all the way fom CS Scotland – and it was great for her to see how we party down in Manchester – I think she enjoyed herself – I hope so, anyway!

With such a great mix of people, the fun didn’t stop all night. One of the major parts of the party was the big prize draw with prizes being won for a meal at The Lass O Gowrie, Revolution and it was topped off by Jez winning a big day out at Go Ape for 3 people ( although I think my description of Go Ape to him could have been a little better…….Hope it didn’t sound to weird Jez!!!)

It was great to see so many cameras out and there we’re some great shapes being busted on the dance floor all night long (don’t worry, I wasn’t going to scare anyone with my smooth moves!) So after all this, it was time for me to chill – and as I’d started prep for the Party at 12noon that day – sitting out on the canal with a beer and chatting with friends was the perfect ending to a great evening!

See you all for the next big CS Party very soon!

Take care
