Meet the citysocializer Team: Phil, Commercial Director

To let you into the secret world of citysocializer we’re starting a new set of posts featuring each delectable team member.

Next up is Phil, Commercial Director. He’s best known around the office for his outrageous stories and great sense of humour.

We asked him a few quickfire questions:

Pc or Mac?

Mac (converted!)

Burger or Lobster thermidor?

Loud or quiet?

Loud (I sound like Ian Paisley)

Modern or retro?

Japan or America?

Japan, for the sushi

And some more detailed ones:

What was your first social like?

It’s quite strange the day of your first social. You get an odd feeling about three hours before, when you think ‘what the hell have I got myself into here?!’, but I logged on to the citysocializer page at about 4 that afternoon and felt great about it all after chatting with a few of the people going. Having already connected online, the usually awkward first 5 minutes were fine and the banter flowed easily. It was over earlier than I thought but I have made up for that in some later socials! The great thing is that everyone at your first social have been been through it and are by and large helpful and welcoming.

And finally..

Where’s your favourite place to socialize and why?

Prince of Whales Pub, Clapham. Quirky and friendly little oasis in the middle of Clapham madness. Good people, good rum and only one minute from my front door!

Thanks Phil!
