London is full of popups, special events and incredibly creative things to do, but sometimes you might not know exactly where to find everything. We made a list with our favourite popup event organisers, who consistently deliver amazing events and experiences and whose events we attend every time.
This dynamic duo has brought us Alcoholic Architecture and Beyond the Waterfall, as well as a risque wall climbing session where the handles are shaped like body parts. Whatever the event, they reinvent the way we look at drinks, bars and general going out by adding their unique twist to it.
Bringing you a chance to enter the world of Labyrinth and attend Jareth’s ball, The Goblin King’s Masquerade ball is an annual event we have attended for several years now. Their other recent ventures, the Make Believe Festival and the Catnip Festival, have also gained some attention from the media and expanded upon their extravagant and unusual style.
With regular masquerade balls, taxidermy workshops and talks on topics such as alchemy, victorian literature and the macabre, any Curious Invitation event is indeed very curious in nature but always good fun and an interesting alternative.
Not only offering some amazing bars with some of the best cocktails in London, Bourne & Hollingsworth are also behind the best themed nights you can find. The Blitz Party, the Dark Circus Party and the 20s Prohibition Party find our members attending regularly, and we can’t forget that those guys also brought us Cocktails In The City, bringing together the best mixologists in London.
We love attending socials for the events organised by all the above teams as they are guaranteed to be well put together, inventive and fun. If you are looking for something different to do in London, look no further than their popup events and keep an eye out for our socials too, so you can join one of the groups already going to them.
