Thinking about attending a festival this year, but not sure which one? Here’s a glimpse at some of the festivals citysocializers are attending this year:

London Live: GDIF - Friday 21st June

A free outdoor performing arts (theatre, dance, and street arts) festival. GDIF has been growing every year and in 2013, the festival features over 150 performances by 30 national and international companies.

Africa Oye Festival (Liverpool) - Sunday 23rd June

Africa Oyé, the UK’s largest free celebration of African music and culture takes place annually in Liverpool.

Glastonbury Festival (Somerset) - Wednesday 26th June

5 days full of music including The Rolling Stones, The Arctic Monkeys and much more. If you already have a ticket meet up with fellow citysocializers.

Godiva Festival (Coventry) – Friday 5th July

A great night full of free music and comedy.

London Live: Carnaby Sound - Saturday 6th July

A celebration of the area’s musical heritage over the years. The history includes the first Jazz club – Murray’s, which opened on Beak Street in 1913 to the Mods of the 1960s through to the Punks and New Romantics of the 1980s to today.

Cardiff International Food & Drink Festival – Saturday 13th July

With over 100 specialist food and drink producers and a beautiful waterfront setting it’s the perfect place to sit back, relax and enjoy the free entertainment.

Latitude Festival – Thursday 18th July

The line up includes the likes of Bloc Party, Kraftwerk, Foals, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Hot Chip, plus lots of comedy, film, theatre and dance

London Live: Folkfest - Saturday 20th July

Folkfest brings you the best in contemporary and traditional folk, acoustic and roots music and is housed in the legendary Bedford in Balham.

Edinburgh Festival – Monday 12th August

The world’s largest arts festival with over 40,000 performances and more than 2,500 shows packed into 250 venues across the city.

Swindon Beer Festival – Friday 25th October

Loads of different beers and ciders to try and rate.

V Festival – Saturday 17th August

An amazing lineup this year for one of the UK’s biggest pop and rock festivals

BBK Bilbao Festival – Wednesday 10th July

Join other citysocializers in the sun for Kings of Leon, Fatboy Slim and Green Day

Splendour in the Park (Nottingham) – Saturday 20th July

A boutique festival, with great bands in a beautiful setting
